Jitesh Pillai comes with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary approach towards bioinformatics solutions for drug development. Dr. Jitesh K. Pillai has over a decade of experience in drug repurposing, application development for genetics data and AI/ML-based solutions for patient stratification and statistical analysis. His experience in enterprise-level solutions for NGS data analysis, data management systems of bioinformatics ,clinical trial data comes handy in managing complex programs for pharma partners.

Jitesh holds a Ph.D in Biology (area of research : Arsenic detoxification) from Department of Biology, Florida International University. During the past decade, he has provided niche consulting in different areas of contract research for big pharma, biotech and startup clients of Excelra. He is currently head of the Program Management team at Excelra where his team of technical program managers work with stakeholders in the pharma industry delivering value with their domain and management expertise.
