Chao Fang

Chao Fang is a data scientist at AstraZeneca, specializing in the integration of multi-omics data and knowledge graphs to advance cancer disease subtyping and analyze resistance mechanism. He applies cutting-edge data science and machine learning techniques for survival prediction and biomarker discovery, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of the cancer disease we seek to treat. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Chao earned his PhD at the University of Missouri, where he developed innovative deep learning approaches for protein sequence analysis and protein structure prediction.
