Dr. Charles O’Donnell has over 15 years of data science and genomics experience, with leadership of multi-disciplinary teams focused on identifying new biology, developing novel modalities and approaches, and translating therapeutics to the clinic. Charles leads platform efforts at Omega Therapeutics including genomics, data science, targeting, and drug design functions, as well as supporting strategy and clinical molecular readouts.  Previously he was Head of the Computational Biology and Data Sciences at Evelo Biosciences, built out the initial Computational Biology and Data Science function at Camp4 Therapeutics, and was a member of Biogen’s Epigenetics and Cell and Gene Therapy team. Dr. O’Donnell was a joint NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard’s Stem Cell Institute and MIT’s Computer Science and AI Laboratory, and received his Ph.D. in EECS from MIT, and B.S. from Columbia University.
