Christine Eng
Dr. Christine Eng serves as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer at Baylor Genetics. She is also a Professor of Molecular and Human Genetics and Vice Chair of Diagnostics at Baylor College of Medicine, as well as an Attending Physician in Pediatric Genetics at Texas Medical Center. With over 25 years of experience across academic and commercial lab settings, Dr. Eng leads the company’s clinical strategy, ensures the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy, and oversees quality systems that support safe, reliable, and scalable genomic testing.
She also serves as principal investigator of the genome sequencing core for the National Institutes of Health’s Undiagnosed Diseases Network and was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Society of Human Genetics effective January 1, 2024.
She received her MD from Tulane University and her BA from Yale University.
