David Miyamoto

Physician Scientist and Radiation Oncologist, Massachusetts General Hospital
David Miyamoto, MD, PhD is an Investigator in the Krantz Family Center for Cancer Research at the Massachusetts General Hospital, an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School, and an Associate Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard (USA). His research efforts focus on the development of novel biomarkers to guide bladder and prostate cancer therapy and improve the individualized care of each patient, with a particular emphasis on the molecular analysis of circulating tumor cells and tumor tissues using multi-omic approaches. Dr. Miyamoto is also a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in genitourinary malignancies who sees patients at the Massachusetts General Hospital. His translational research laboratory has been supported by grants from the National Cancer Institute, the U.S. Department of Defense, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and the Radiation Oncology Institute.
