Elaine Joseph

Director, Precision Medicine , AstraZeneca

Elaine Joseph, PhD is currently a Director, Precision Medicine at AstraZeneca.  In this role, Elaine is focused on providing capability for development of biomarker assay products that support AstraZeneca’s oncology therapeutic assets. Prior industry experience involves molecular and protein-based technology and assay development; with experience at both early stage biotechnology startups and large pharmaceutical companies. 

Elaine completed her bachelor of science degree in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a MA in Biology and PhD in Biochemistry from Harvard University, with a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School.
