Emily Gillen, PhD is the Head of Global Data Partnerships at UCB bringing over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. With a strong foundation in healthcare analytics, she is passionate about building and strengthening internal and external relationships that enable data-driven insights across UCB’s evolving portfolio. 

Throughout her career, Emily has led cross-functional teams and spearheaded initiatives that leverage data as a catalyst for innovation and strategic decision-making. She excels at fostering collaborations with healthcare providers, technology companies, and research institutions to drive meaningful industry impact. Known for her clear communication and deep understanding of healthcare data, she ensures knowledge is used efficiently and effectively throughout UCB. 

Emily lives outside of Boston with her husband, two children, and their cat Waffles. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and playing tennis.
