Dr. Flannick is a computer scientist and statistical geneticist who has published many papers on the use of next-generation sequencing to understand the genetic basis of T2D. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and professional experience as an Applications Engineer at Oracle. He brings a broad and deep background in algorithms, methods, software, and genetics.
