Dr. Jessica Makofske completed her PhD at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), followed by a postdoc at Harvard Medical School, where she studied chromatin-mediated gene regulation. In 2019, Dr. Makofske joined Novartis as a computational biologist, supporting exploratory biomarker analyses in Oncology clinical trials. She currently leads the Multiomics Exploration & Analysis Development group within the Oncology Data Science team. Her team focuses on the analysis of exploratory biomarkers in Oncology clinical trials, with a specific emphasis on high-throughput proteomics in liquid biopsies.
