Jiping Yang
Associate Research Scientist,
Columbia University Medical Center
Dr. Jiping Yang received his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences under the mentorship of Dr. Guang-Hui Liu. He then joined the laboratory of Dr. Yousin Suh at Columbia University Medical Center, where his research focuses on uncovering the genetic and molecular mechanisms of human longevity. Leveraging human pluripotent stem cell models and gene-editing technologies, Dr. Yang has worked to functionally characterize genetic variants identified in centenarians and to elucidate how these variants influence cellular aging, genome stability, stress responses, and regenerative capacity.
