Lauren Celano
Lauren Celano is Founder and CEO of Propel Careers, a life sciences recruitment and career development firm she co-founded in 2009. With more than 20 years in the sector, she began her career in drug discovery and early clinical development before focusing on building high-performing teams across biotech and pharma.
Lauren has supported over 60 organizations in hiring across research, clinical, and operational roles, while coaching scientists and professionals on career strategy, networking, and personal branding. A frequent speaker at universities and conferences, she delivers around 100 talks annually. Lauren also co-hosts the Propelling Careers podcast with Jim Gould, sharing practical insights to help scientists navigate career transitions.
