Lauren Gutgesell is a scientist with over a decade of experience spanning drug discovery and transcriptomics across biotech and pharmaceutical settings.

She received her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago focusing on small molecule drug discovery in breast cancer and has since transitioned to researching precision medicine in fibrotic diseases She is a co-inventor on patents in spatial analysis technologies and has authored peer-reviewed publications in molecular biology, immunology, and medicinal chemistry.
