Matthew Glover
Matthew Glover is Associate Director, Proteomics at the Centre for Genomics Research (CGR) in Discovery Sciences, AstraZeneca. He leads a team that applies proteomics technologies to support target discovery and drug development for Early Oncology R&D.
Since joining AstraZeneca in 2017, he has leveraged proteomic and metabolomic approaches to enable target identification and validation and to support numerous preclinical pipeline transitions across multiple therapeutic areas.
Prior to AstraZeneca, Matt completed a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry at Indiana University and was awarded an NIH T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Throughout his career, he has applied expertise in proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, and biological mass spectrometry to advance drug discovery and deepen insights into human biology and disease.
