Michael is a senior epidemiologist with broad and contemporary expertise in research, programme management, and scientific leadership.

Michael was previously a tenured, Senior Investigator at the US National Institutes of Health. He has designed and conducted numerous studies to advance etiologic understanding, clinical management, and prevention of chronic disease.
