PhD Candidate , Leeds Beckett University

I am a final-year PhD student at Leeds Beckett University (UK) working in regulatory genomics and ovarian cancer. My research focuses on how noncoding genetic variants, particularly within enhancer regions, influence gene regulation through noncoding RNA–mediated post-transcriptional mechanisms. I combine integrative bioinformatics analyses with targeted in vitro model systems to investigate how enhancer variants drive oncogenic gene expression programmes.

Ultimately, my aim is to improve molecular risk stratification and identify novel therapeutic opportunities for ovarian cancer patients and beyond.
