Dr Puneet Saxena brings extensive interdisciplinary expertise across the Biomedical and Computational Biology field. At Excelra, he has led and contributed to projects spanning inflammatory and neurodegenerative disorders, with specialized expertise in hit and target identification, multi-omics analysis, AI/ML-driven patient stratification and drug response prediction, DNA-encoded library (DEL) data analysis, and semantic integration of biomedical data using knowledge graphs.
He earned his PhD in Computational Biology from University of Modena, Italy and has co-authored 15 peer-reviewed publications along with a book chapter on neglected diseases. His research has primarily focused on Tuberculosis and Ovarian cancer, integrating computational and structural biology approaches to advance translational research.

In addition, he has co-authored multiple protein–ligand complex structure submissions to the RCSB Protein Data Bank and contributed to major international research consortia, including MM4TB and AIRC, supporting collaborative efforts in infectious disease and oncology research.
