Ramakrishnan Rajagopalan
Ramakrishnan Rajagopalan, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He serves as the Director of Translational Bioinformatics in the Division of Genomic Diagnostics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the CHOP Undiagnosed Diseases Program.
He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and a BEng from Anna University.
In his current role, Rajagopalan leverages sequencing technologies and bioinformatics tools to advance genomic diagnostics — from exome and genome sequencing and multi-omics analyses — particularly in pediatric medicine.
