Dr. Xiong (Sean) Liu is Director of Data Science and AI at Novartis, where he advances machine learning to accelerate discovery, optimize clinical development, and inform strategic decisions.
Previously, he was a Principal Data Scientist at Eli Lilly and led SBIR-funded AI projects in industry. His contributions have been recognized with the Lilly CIO Award, the Novartis Star Award, and selection as a Gen Matrix Top Innovator in Pharma. He has published widely, served on industry and scientific committees, mentored emerging talent, and speaks regularly on AI in biopharma.
