  • Using metabolomics and RNA sequencing at four different time points in pregnancy to find predictive biomarkers for adverse events e.g. still birth, preeclampsia and gestational diabetes.  

  • Measuring ctRNA in different samples such as blood, plasma and paternal DNA. 

  • Approaching the study design  

  • Translational applications and driving omics testing into the clinic.  

  • Moving towards proteomics, epigenetics and a multi-omics approach.
