Blood-Based Immune Profiling for Early Detection of Brain Cancer

  • T-cell recognition of cancer has transformed cancer treatment. 

  • This recognition has not yet been applied to improve early cancer detection. 

  • Our work shows that T-cells recognizing a common neo-antigen presented on glioma (a brain tumour) can be leveraged for detection. 

  • These tumour-specific T-cells can be identified from a peripheral blood sample, enabling tumour detection.
