The SMPaeds2 Study: The Power of ctDNA in Paediatric Cancer
- We have developed a panel based ctDNA sequencing approach specifically for paediatric solid tumours and show that ctDNA sequencing identifies greater genetic heterogeneity than tumour sequencing
- We have also shown the power of fragmentomics analysis of lcWGS to infer cell of origin and epigenetic state
- Alongside implementing ctDNA panel sequencing with clinical reporting as part of the national SMPaeds 2programme we are developing novel ctDNA tests for clinical implementation
