Abbie Macmillan-Jones is a senior scientist working within Discovery Biology, Discovery Sciences at AstraZeneca. She has significant expertise in the development of drug discovery cascades for proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) and for the past five years has been working to support discovery campaigns for small molecule inhibitors and PROTACs, through the development and delivery of high-throughput assays and mechanistic data packages. Prior to working at AstraZeneca, she has spent time at Astex Therapeutics and at GlaxoSmithKline. She received her undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences (BSc hons.) from the University of Exeter.
