David is a Group Leader at Cancer Research Horizons and the CRUK lead of the Functional Genomics Centre. He has 10 years’ experience in functional genomics and preclinical oncology R&D. Prior to joining the Cancer Research Horizons in 2019, he led target discovery and validation programmes at Horizon Discovery. He gained his PhD in cell biology from the University of Basel, Switzerland and completed his post-doctoral studies at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, where he studied the role of cell cycle regulators in genome maintenance.
