Robert Meltzer is an Associate Principal Scientist at Illumina and former co-founder of Fluent BioSciences. Fluent was launched in 2018 to develop new methods and reagents for simple, scalable, and cost effective single-cell analysis in any laboratory, and was acquired by Illumina in Jully of 2024. Robert has developed genomic analysis technologies since 2007 at U.S. Genomics, Pathogenetix, and Bio-Rad Laboratories, and holds degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Molecular Biophysics from Texas A&M University and Baylor College of Medicine, respectively.
