Sean trained as a biochemist and has over 25 years’ experience in genomics. Sean was a Project Leader in the Human Genome Project at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and has been at Illumina for 15 years. During his time at Illumina Sean played a key role setting up and leading the 100,000 genomes sequencing facility at Hinxton including establishing ISO15189 accreditation in partnership with Genomics England and the NHS. Sean is passionate about bringing the power of genomics to bear to improve health.
