Experienced clinical scientist with over 15 years’ experience working in clinical laboratories with over 9 years in senior service positions and developing next-generation sequencing testing pathways. Prior to joining Informed Genomics, he trained as a clinical scientist at the West Midlands Regional Genetics Laboratory before moving to the role of Principal Scientist and co-service lead at Molecular Pathology Diagnostic Service at University Hospitals Birmingham. For the past three years, he has been the Clinical lead for Hereditary cancer at Informed Genomics, where he oversaw the development and launch of an accredited (ISO 15189:2012) Hereditary Cancer service, establishing Informed Genomics clinical validation processes, variant interpretation and reporting strategy.
