Darina is a biostatistician and did their PhD in Bertram Müller-Myhsok's lab (Max-Planck-Institute of Psychiatry) on genome-wide association studies. In 2014, they joined Elisabeth Binder's Department at the Max-Planck-Institute of Psychiatry and they are leading the team "Translational Genomics". They are focusing on the biological embedding of prenatal and early life stress and its consequences on development and health.
