After completing her Ph.D. in Genetics at the University of Leicester, Clara focused her research in the epigenetic and cell-cycle regulation of telomeres at the Institute Curie (Paris) and the GIGA Institute (Liège). Clara then joined the Babraham Institute (Cambridge) to study the three-dimensional organisation of the genome in stem cells and reprogramming. Currently, Clara uses the transiting pluripotency states of embryonic stem cells to understand the molecular mechanisms responsible for genome stability and architecture at the Francis Crick Institute (London).
