North Thames Genomic Medicine Service Alliance

Nick works on identifying genetic risk/protective factors for psychiatric disorders with the aim of improving diagnosis and progressing the development of biologically informed interventions. Clinically he works in Tower Hamlets Diagnostic Memory Service, East London NHS Foundation Trust. He has been developing integrated working with Barts Health neurosciences and runs a joint clinic with a consultant neurologist where we assess people together. Nick is now focused on translating the genetic findings in psychiatry over the last 20 years into clinical practice. He led the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (NTGMSA) Mental Health Services Transformation Project – embedding genomic medicine in mental health services and is now the mental health lead for the NTGMSA.
