Yasmin Panchbhaya holds a BSc in Human Genetics from the University of Nottingham and began her career as a Research Scientist at Illumina Ltd., contributing to the groundbreaking ‘100,000 Genomes Project.’ She then advanced her expertise at the Core Genomics Facility at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, specializing in molecular biology applications such as DNA/RNA extractions, microarrays and next-generation sequencing as well as liquid handling robotics. In 2020, Yasmin joined Omega Bio-tek as a Technical Support Associate, where she has honed her skills in troubleshooting and resolving complex challenges in nucleic acid extraction and purification.
