Michael is the Executive Director of Science at Our Future Health, a UK-based charity that is developing a new 5-million-person prospective cohort study. He leads and oversees all scientific aspects of the study, which has led to our current state of having consented 1.5 million participants with blood donations from 750,000 so far. Michael was previously a tenured, Senior Investigator at the US National Institutes of Health. He has extensive experience in molecular epidemiology with broad and contemporary expertise in research (biomarkers, statistics, epidemiology), program management, and scientific leadership.
