Jochen M Schwenk is a Professor of Translational Proteomics at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and SciLifeLab in Stockholm. He is a scientific director at the Human Protein Atlas (HPA), scientific director for SciLifeLab's Clinical Proteomics Platform, an elected council member of the Human Proteome Organization (HUPO) and the chair of HUPO's Plasma Proteome Project. With a background in biochemistry, his resarch uses proteomics technologies to study circulating blood proteins as molecular determinants of human health and disease.
