I am Professor of Molecular Epidemiology of Ageing at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer at the University of Edinburgh. My background is in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and my group’s research uses computational models to understand the molecular mechanisms that underlie ageing with a particular focus on neurodegeneration and dementia.
