Adam Ameur is an Associate Professor at the SciLifeLab National Genomics Infrastructure (NGI) and Uppsala University. His research focuses on developing and applying new genome technologies to better understand human health and disease.
Dr. Ameur is actively involved in several national and international collaborations, including the Genome of Europe project. His current work includes building a reference genome dataset for the Swedish population, evaluating long-read sequencing for clinical applications, and developing methods to assess the safety of CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing
