Professor Adrian Thrasher is a Paediatric Immunologist at the Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, University College London, where for over over 25 years he has pioneered the application of gene therapy for children with severe defects of immunity. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences, has authored numerous high profile scientific publications, and has been lead investigator in many landmark international clinical trials.
