Anna Njie is a dedicated community leader and event strategist passionate about empowering African and Caribbean communities through culture, health, and enterprise. With a background in Health and Social Care and extensive experience in international event management, she has coordinated major events including the African Union Summit (2006) and the International Roots Festival (2008).
Formerly with AFFORD UK, Anna led initiatives enhancing the African Diaspora’s role in development, including Global Enterprise Week and African Women in Business. Her commitment to inclusion deepened through her work with Centre 404, supporting vulnerable people.
Anna is a NACO Change Maker (2022) and a member of Islington’s Culture Strategy Working Group (2023). Hosted the first Black Owned Business Market in islington 2024 and Held a successful Residency at the Black Cultural Centre Spring-Summer 2025
