Anna Schuh

Director of Molecular Diagnostics, University of Oxford

Professor Anna Schuh has led over 50 early and late phase clinical trials in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia as a principle or chief investigator. Her main laboratory research interest is with the development, evaluation and implementation of new technologies for Precision Diagnostics, most recently whole genome sequencing and liquid biopsy testing. Together with colleagues from primary care, she leads a programme in the NHS on evaluating multi-cancer early detection tools to triage patients with non-specific symptoms of cancer and on using liquid biopsies for faster diagnosis of children with Burkitt lymphoma in sub-Saharan Africa.

She also spearheaded the creation of an online, part-time Oxford MSc Programme in Precision Cancer Medicine.
