Aybuke Kupcu Yoldas

Aybuke Kupcu Yoldas is a Senior Imaging Bioinformatician for the BioImage Archive at EMBL-EBI. Her background is in physics and astronomy, with the recent addition of biological imaging data. Prior to joining EMBL-EBI, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge's Institute of Astronomy, and before that at the European Southern Observatory in Germany. After her PhD, her focus was on image analysis and data management. During that time, she worked on many astronomy projects, as well as biological imaging data, as part of a Cancer Research UK Grand Challenge project and a COVID-19 project.
