Associate Director, Neuroscience Translational Biomarker Discovery, MSD

I am a biologist and biochemist passionate about using cutting-edge technology to do translational research with the end goal of improving people’s health and quality of life. I am fascinated by how mass spectrometry, together with other omics technologies and bioinformatics, can be employed to further our understanding of diseases, elucidate drug mechanisms of action, develop translational biomarker assays, and target deconvolution.

I have extensive experience in cancer research, biochemistry, cell biology, signal transduction, systems biology, cell cycle, analysis of post-translational modifications (e.g. phosphorylation and ubiquitylation), and a wide range of proteomics workflows. I have worked in a wide range of indications (e.g. neurodegeneration, immunology, and kidney disease) in drug development and modalities including novel therapeutic strategies such as targeted protein degradation.
