Dan Marks is a Bioimaging Bioinformatician at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), where he works within the BioImage Archive to manage and analyse large-scale scientific imaging datasets. He holds a PhD in Cancer Research from Imperial College London and a Master's degree in Natural Sciences from UCL. His research background bridges the gap between imaging, genomics, and physics, with a particular focus on using advanced microscopy and CRISPR-engineered biosensors to study real-time cellular mechanisms and drug resistance in cancer cells.
