Dave Bohanna

Dave, Business Development Manager at OGT, has over 20 years of experience in molecular diagnostics and pathology. A HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist, he spent 12 years at the West Midlands Regional Genetics Laboratory, supporting the delivery of molecular diagnostic services and gaining extensive experience of UK clinical laboratory workflows. He has also worked internationally, including at Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar, where he supervised the pathology genetics laboratory and contributed to the establishment of their genomic testing services.

Holding a BSc in Genetics and an MSc in Digital Biology, he combines a strong scientific foundation with practical laboratory expertise. Since joining OGT, he has worked closely with healthcare and laboratory professionals to identify genomic solutions that align with their clinical and operational requirements across FISH, NGS and microarray technologies. His experience spans laboratories throughout the UK, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, providing a broad perspective on evolving molecular diagnostic practice.
