Deborah leads the UK & Ireland Alexion rare disease division within AstraZeneca, which is focused on the discovery, development and commercialisation of life-changing rare disease medicines.  

She has extensive experience as a senior leader in commercial and medical roles in the life sciences sector and across a wide range of therapeutic areas including infectious diseases, endocrinology, renal disease and oncology.  

At Alexion, she is focused on collaborating with partners across the rare disease community to transform the diagnosis, treatment and care of people living with a rare condition, with a strong passion for harnessing the benefits of new technologies and digital tools to improve patient experience and enhance the impact of clinical teams.
