Denise is the Lead Midwife for Genomics in the North East and Yorkshire Genomic Medicine Service (GMS), providing strategic leadership to embed genomics within maternity services. With specialist expertise in fetal and maternal medicine, she champions equitable access to genomic care for women and their families, ensuring midwifery voices are central to service development. Denise leads initiatives to build genomic awareness and confidence among midwives, creating opportunities for them to expand their role while navigating complex political and service challenges.
