Dr. Dirk Paul is the Head of Development at Genomics Ltd., where he leads a team focused on advancing patient stratification and genomic prevention strategies through industry partnerships. Prior to this role, Dr. Paul held several leadership positions at AstraZeneca. He served as the Head of BioPharma Precision Medicine and Biosamples, and before that, led the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic Therapeutic Area at the Centre for Genomics Research. Before joining AstraZeneca in 2019, he was a Group Leader at the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Unit at the University of Cambridge. A strong advocate for Open Science and academia-industry collaborations, he has authored 90+ collaborative publications, and is a recipient of the 2019 Sanofi Innovation Award.
