Robert Durruthy-Durruthy is a seasoned leader in the life-science tools industry with over a decade of experience spanning single-cell genomics, field applications, and global technical support. He is currently VP of Global Field Applications and Technical Support at Mission Bio, where he built and scaled a global applications, bioinformatics, and support organization from the ground up.

His work sits at the intersection of customer success, product innovation, and commercial strategy, with a strong focus on enabling adoption of complex single-cell DNA and multi-omics technologies. Previously, Robert held field applications and bioinformatics roles supporting early access programs and first-to-market product launches. He earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Stanford University and the Technical University of Berlin and is a published author in Cell and Nature Protocols. At the Festival of Genomics, he will share practical insights from translating cutting-edge single-cell technologies into real-world impact.
