Clive D'Santos

Head of Proteomics,  CRUK 
Clive completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia studying calcitonin receptor biology and subsequently worked at the IRIBHN, Brussells, Belgium, as a recipient of a Royal Society fellowship and  EMBO fellowship studying inositide biology. These studies continued at the Netherlands Cancer institute working with Dr Nullin Divecha investigating inositide metabolism in the context of mammalian nuclei. The switch to proteomics occurred at GeneProt in 2002, a company dedicated to the industrial scale analysis of biological fluids using mass spectrometry,  followed by a position (2005-2009) as platform manager of the Norwegian Proteomic Platform, PROBE. Clive has been Head of Proteomics at the CRUK Cambridge Institute since 2009.
