,
Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust
Principal Genetic Counsellor at the National Amyloidosis Centre (NAC), Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust.
Emily has worked as a genetic counsellor in the NHS for the last 9 years, within regional clinical genetic services, with experience in general, neuro, cardiac and prenatal genetics.
Her most recent post has seen her move into a mainstreaming role to develop and deliver a dedicated genetic counselling service at the NAC for those with a personal or family history of hereditary amyloidosis. She is keen in promoting the role of genetic counsellors and the benefit they can bring to different clinical services to support mainstreaming genetic testing, for both clinicians and patients.
