Gareth Bloomfield is a scientist–entrepreneur specialising in genomics, clinical diagnostics, and translational R&D. He trained at the University of Oxford, completing a First Class degree and a DPhil in Biochemistry, and has held postdoctoral and investigator roles at world-leading research centres including the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology and the Wellcome Sanger Institute.
