Georgios (Giorgos) Baskozos is a bioinformatician and Associate Professor in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences (NDCN), University of Oxford. His work focuses on multi-omics and predictive modelling to understand the complex interplay of pathophysiological factors that drive neuropathic pain.
He leads a bioinformatics group within NDCN that has developed pipelines for 'omics analysis of the peripheral nervous system in normal and perturbed states in humans, rodents and in vitro models, as well as big data analytics and machine learning applications in painful and painless neuropathies using large heterogeneous datasets and population-based cohorts.
