Gerald Martin

Gerald obtained his BA(Hons) and PhD degrees from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and completed two post-doctoral positions (at the Beatson Institute, Glasgow (UK) and Cambridge University (UK)) focusing on assay development, before moving to industry in 1998. Since then, Gerald has held a number of roles (including Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Product Management) at various companies including Transgenomic, Oxford Gene Technology, Sophia Genetics and Pierian/Velsera, specialising in the field of clinical Next Generation Sequencing for last twelve and a half years. Most recently, Gerald joined OncoDNA, the Belgium-based clinical NGS kits and services provider, as Commercial Applications Scientist.
